X Factor champions Leona Lewis and Sam Bailey will both appear on Michael Bolton’s new album.

The US singer announced details of his upcoming record Ain’t No Mountain High Enough today (April 2), which will feature duets with the reality show winners.

Lewis will sing with Bolton on title track ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ – a song he has previously recorded with Bailey for her debut album Power of Love.

Meanwhile, Bailey will appear on a cover of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell classic ‘Ain’t Nothin Like the Real Thing’.

The album features a mix of classic Motown hits (‘Tracks of My Tears’, ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’) as well as original songs co-written by Bolton (‘Gotta Keep Dreamin’, ‘Somethin Out of Nothin’).

Hello everyone. It’s good to be back updating you with the latest on the one and only, Leona Lewis. So as you may or may not know yet but Leona is currently recording a new album for this year release. The recording of this new album began in the middle of last year, just after she recorded her first holiday album, ‘Christmas, with love‘. You can read the tweet that Leona has tweeted below:

PS: We are currently on the progress of making a new theme, which we hope to get done soon. It would be more professional and more navigable.

Last saturday Leona posted a selfie on her instagram profile with the caption “Hair tonight by my boo @patriciamoraleshair lovely evening performing for Heartview❤️” we inmediately investigated and found that she was one of the artists to perform at Heart View Global Foundation’ Gala 2014, along with american band, Plain White T’s. Leona performed a few songs including her hit “Bleeding Love” and an amazing rendition of A Great Big World’s “Say Something”. A guest that attended the event uploaded videos for both songs and we bring them for you! She sounded amazing wow, just so beautiful!. Watch both videos bellow:

Christmas has come early for Leona Lewis. The pop singer has set a new chart record by becoming the first British female solo artist to score eight U.K. top 5 singles.

The pop artist’s latest single “One More Sleep” (Syco Music) opened at No. 3 on the latest Official U.K. Singles Chart, gifting the former “X Factor” winner more hits than any other British female solo artist in history.

Lewis’ feat beats the record of seven previously held by Olivia Newton-John, the British-born Australian pop singer and actor. There’s a logjam at third place, with Petula Clark, Shirley Bassey, Cilla Black, Geri Halliwell, Billie Piper, Louise, Cheryl Cole, Emeli Sande, Jessie J and Ellie Goulding all jointly holding six solo U.K. top 5s.

Lewis has made a habit of busting chart records. Her debut 2007 album “Spirit” debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. with first-week sales of 375,872 units, to become the fastest-selling debut album in the U.K. (Susan Boyle’s debut “I Dreamed a Dream” from November 2009 has since topped the set by selling 410,000 copies).

In 2008, Lewis’ cover of Snow Patrol’s “Run” went straight to the top of the singles chart, becoming the fastest-selling download in British chart history at the time, with 133,000 copies in a single week.

“One More Sleep” is lifted from Lewis’ fourth studio album, the festive-themed “Christmas, With Love.”

British pop star Leona Lewis has taken aim at Tv talent show The X Factor for dominating the U.K. singles chart every Christmas.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker won the singing contest in 2006 but has become concerned at its tradition of launching each series winner’s career with a release during the festive season.

The track almost always takes the coveted number one spot on Christmas week, but Lewis wants a return to the days when seasonal songs dominated the festive chart.

She tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “I know that whoever wins The X Factor will be Christmas No. 1, because the show is so huge. But now I’m thinking: ‘No, why does it have to be The X Factor? Stop it and give the traditional Christmas songs a chance’.”
